Héctor holds a B.Sc. in Physics from University of Barcelona (UB) and Executive MBA from ESADE Business School. He has worked in finance for more than 8 years, as well as being co-founder and CFO & COO of Arboliza for more than 2 years. He is co-founder and CEO of Smalle Technologies.

Josep Miquel Torregrosa

Counselor

Josep Miquel holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Girona (UdG) and Executive MBA from ESADE Business School. He has been managing renewable energy projects for more than 10 years, and since 2011 is the Business Creation Officer of KIC InnoEnergy Iberia. He is a member of several company Boards and consultant to a large number of start-ups in the cleantech sector.

Raquel Abulí

Counselor

Raquel holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering specialised in Industrial Design from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). For 10 years she worked as Product and Operations Director for Puig, in Barcelona and Paris. In February 2013, she launched Baby’n’Joy, the first brand specialising in experience gifts for babies.

Jordi Casas

Secretary

Jordi has a BA in Law from the University of Barcelona (UB). He has worked as a lawyer for the firm Roca Junyent, and, after 20 years of professional experience, he has specialised in Commercial Law, although he has experience in other areas including Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions and Distribution Contracts, working for both national and multinational companies. In addition, he teaches Commercial Law in the Pompeu Fabra University and is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of various companies

Jaume Esteve

Jaume holds a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Barcelona (UB) and works as a Senior Researcher for the Centro Nacional de Microelectrónica (CNM), which belongs to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). He has directed and participated in more than 20 R&D projects, both at national and European level, and has published more than 100 scientific articles. His experience is key in directing research and overcoming any problems that might arise.

Alejandro Pérez

Alejandro is a Professor in the Electronics Department of the Physics Faculty at the University of Barcelona (UB). In addition, he is a Senior Researcher at the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC). He has directed and taken part in more than 50 R&D projects, both at national and European level, and has published more than 100 scientific articles. His knowledge in the field of electronics is highly important for the development of the electronic components of the devices.

María Cruz Acero

María Cruz holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Autonomous University of Barcelona and is a Researcher at the Centro Nacional de Microelectrónica (CNM), which belongs to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). She has participated in more than 20 R&D projects and has published more than 30 scientific articles.

Cristhophe Serre

Christophe holds a Ph.D. in Microelectronics from Joseph Fourier University and is an Associate Professor in the Electronics Department of the Physics Faculty at University of Barcelona (UB). He has taken part in more than 25 R&D projects and has published more than 90 scientific articles. His knowledge in the field of electronics is highly important for the development of the electronic components of the devices.
